Questions? We have answers.
Does MaruTally store my Amazon data?
No. MaruTally retrieves your Amazon data only when your TallyPrime installation requests it, and does not permanently store orders, settlements, financial events, inventory, or reports. Only encrypted authorization credentials are retained.
Which Amazon APIs does MaruTally use?
Orders API, Finances API, FBA Inventory API, Vendor Purchase Orders API, and Vendor Inventory Reports API — see the Supported APIs table on the Amazon integration page.
How does the Amazon authorization process work?
MaruTally uses Amazon's official OAuth process. You approve access directly through Amazon's own sign-in screen. MaruTally never sees or stores your Amazon password.
Can I revoke MaruTally's access to my Amazon account?
Yes. You can revoke access at any time directly from your Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account settings.
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?
MaruTally is built to support multiple Amazon marketplaces. The India marketplace has completed full production validation. Additional Amazon marketplaces are supported and validated progressively as sellers and vendors from those regions connect.
Does MaruTally modify my Amazon listings, pricing, or inventory?
No. MaruTally only retrieves data. It does not create, update, or delete Amazon listings, pricing, catalog information, or inventory quantities.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Refresh tokens are encrypted, API keys are securely hashed, and all communication uses HTTPS.
Does MaruTally provide Vendor financial or payment data?
Not at this time. Amazon does not currently offer a retrieval API for Vendor payment or remittance information. Vendor financial data remains available directly through Vendor Central. MaruTally will add this capability if Amazon makes it available.
Why does MaruTally require Amazon permissions?
MaruTally requests only the minimum Amazon SP-API permissions required to retrieve seller-authorized business data for accounting, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting within TallyPrime. The application follows the principle of least privilege and does not request permissions unrelated to its functionality.
