Complete Amazon Seller Accounting in Tally.
Reconcile your Amazon India settlements (V2/V3) with 100% accuracy. Stop the manual entry chaos and automate your GST-compliant Tally records in seconds.
Why Manual Amazon Accounting Fails.
Every manual CSV entry is a hidden cost to your brand.
Complex Fee Structures
Referral, closing, and storage fees vary by SKU. Missing even one category mapping creates tax liability.
Return & RTO Chaos
Manually matching return refunds against original orders takes hours and is prone to human error.
GST Compliance Gaps
Filing GST without order-level reconciliation often leads to unwanted departmental notices.

About MaruTally Amazon Integration
After authorization through Amazon's official OAuth process, MaruTally securely retrieves seller or vendor authorized business data from Amazon's Selling Partner API and transfers it directly to TallyPrime for accounting, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Supported APIs
| Amazon SP-API | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Orders API | Retrieve order and order item information |
| Finances API | Retrieve settlements, financial events, fees, refunds, and reimbursements for Seller accounts |
| FBA Inventory API | Retrieve Amazon fulfilled inventory quantities |
| Vendor Purchase Orders API | Retrieve vendor purchase order information |
| Vendor Inventory Reports API | Retrieve vendor inventory reports |
Note: Amazon does not currently provide a retrieval API for Vendor payment or remittance information. Vendor financial data remains available through Vendor Central. MaruTally will support this capability if Amazon makes it available in the future.

Amazon fees and charges (FBA Pick and Pack, Weight Handling, Shipping Chargeback, and related tax entries) are posted automatically as ledger entries in TallyPrime.

Amazon returns and refunds are automatically recorded as credit note entries in TallyPrime, matched against the original sale.
OAuth Flow

Amazon order data retrieved by MaruTally is transferred into TallyPrime, where it appears as a sales voucher with item, quantity, rate, and tax details.

Amazon SP-API Compliance
MaruTally is built using Amazon's official Selling Partner API and OAuth authorization standards. The application follows Amazon security best practices, including OAuth authorization, AWS Signature Version 4 request signing, encrypted credential storage, HTTPS communication, and least privilege permission usage.
MaruTally does not create, update, or delete Amazon marketplace data such as listings, pricing, inventory quantities, or orders. The only write-type request made is to initiate a Vendor inventory report, a standard Amazon reporting mechanism, which does not modify any marketplace data.
Permissions Used
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Orders API | Accounting and order reconciliation |
| Finances API | Settlement and fee reconciliation (Seller accounts) |
| Inventory API | Inventory synchronization |
| Vendor Purchase Orders API | Vendor order reconciliation |
| Vendor Inventory Reports API | Vendor inventory synchronization |
| Sellers API | Used internally, once per Seller authorization, to auto-detect the seller's real marketplace — not exposed as a customer-facing operation |
| OAuth | Explicit seller/vendor authorization before any data access |

Questions? We have answers.
Do I need technical knowledge to set this up?
Not at all. You simply authorize MaruTally on your Amazon Seller Central account or upload your raw settlement reports. Our engine automatically maps the columns and processes the data.
Does this work with my specific version of Tally?
Yes. MaruTally generates perfectly mapped XML files that are 100% compatible with both Tally Prime and legacy Tally ERP9 workflows.
How does it handle Amazon FBA vs Easy Ship?
Our algorithm automatically identifies the deduction codes in the settlement. It separates FBA storage fees, Easy Ship weights, and referral commissions into distinct ledgers.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, and we only retrieve the settlement and transaction data needed for accounting — never your Amazon login credentials.
Does MaruTally store my Amazon data?
No. MaruTally retrieves your Amazon data only when your TallyPrime installation requests it, and does not permanently store orders, settlements, financial events, inventory, or reports. Only encrypted authorization credentials are retained.
Which Amazon APIs does MaruTally use?
Orders API, Finances API, FBA Inventory API, Vendor Purchase Orders API, and Vendor Inventory Reports API — see the Supported APIs table above.
How does the Amazon authorization process work?
MaruTally uses Amazon's official OAuth process. You approve access directly through Amazon's own sign-in screen. MaruTally never sees or stores your Amazon password.
Can I revoke MaruTally's access to my Amazon account?
Yes. You can revoke access at any time directly from your Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account settings.
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?
MaruTally is built to support multiple Amazon marketplaces. The India marketplace has completed full production validation. Additional Amazon marketplaces are supported and validated progressively as sellers and vendors from those regions connect.
Does MaruTally modify my Amazon listings, pricing, or inventory?
No. MaruTally only retrieves data. It does not create, update, or delete Amazon listings, pricing, catalog information, or inventory quantities.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Refresh tokens are encrypted, API keys are securely hashed, and all communication uses HTTPS.
Does MaruTally provide Vendor financial or payment data?
Not at this time. Amazon does not currently offer a retrieval API for Vendor payment or remittance information. Vendor financial data remains available directly through Vendor Central. MaruTally will add this capability if Amazon makes it available.
Why does MaruTally require Amazon permissions?
MaruTally requests only the minimum Amazon SP-API permissions required to retrieve seller-authorized business data for accounting, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting within TallyPrime. The application follows the principle of least privilege and does not request permissions unrelated to its functionality.
